ABOUT ME

Ishi is a designer, artist, globetrotter, connoisseur of artefacts, and lover of all things design. Being a painter by hobby, she always had an eye for aesthetics. She specializes in designing spaces in Modern, Eclectic, and Indian style of design. Her creative use of colour and mix of modern and vintage decor give her designs a distinctive vibe. Simplicity and quality with a splash of personality is her mantra. She has designed and styled homes, offices and businesses for friends and family in two countries.

She was born and raised in India in a family of artists and businessmen. She worked in art direction as well as in the tourism industry in the UK and India for a few years. Living as an expat in Germany, which is culturally very different from India, made her realize the importance of designing spaces that make one feel at home. She discovered her passion for interior designing when she remodeled her home in Munich and turned it into her own personal sanctuary during the pandemic. She went on to formally study at The Interior Design Institute in 2022 and founded Ishi Design Co., a studio specializing in Interior Design and Decor, which provides services from simple organization and decor to full room transformations.
